Jocelyn’s Provisions is a bakery and gourmet provisions store with three locations across Brisbane. Albion Park is their original store and home to the kitchen, but you’ll also find stores in Camp Hill and James Street, all stocked full of wonderful products.

Specialising in artisan cakes, bread, pastries, biscuits, chocolates, provisions and take home meals, Jocelyn’s Provisions is a must-visit for a quick lunch, easy dinner or a sweet treat. Cupcake anyone?

They also offer hampers, catering services and online ordering, and can create custom cakes for weddings and special occasions.

Camp Hill Store

I visited the Camp Hill store, located in the busy Camp Hill Marketplace. It’s a small shop, but it’s packed full of bakes and provisions. It’s takeaway only, but there are plenty of tables and chairs outside the store if you want to sit and enjoy your lunch.

Inside, you’ll find a beautiful display of cakes, a hot cabinet with pies and sausages rolls, freezers full of take home meals. and shelves stocked with gourmet provisions.

The Products

There are so many products on offer in store and online, all made with high-quality, natural ingredients.

Keep an eye out for their seasonal specials throughout the year, including Christmas, Valentine’s Day and winter warmers.

Cakes

You can’t go past the fresh cakes on display in the main cabinet. Cupcakes, whole cakes, bar cakes, roulades, cheesecakes and slices – there’s so much to choose from!

Flavours include classics like chocolate, raspberry, salted caramel, carrot and passionfruit, as well as some more unique options like lemon and elderflower, pear and pecan, and funfetti.

My personal favourites are the raspberry butter cake, and of course you can’t go wrong with a classic carrot cake with cream cheese frosting.

The cakes are so beautifully presented – not only do they taste delicious but they look spectacular. Perfect for birthdays or special occasions.

Bakery and Pies

Breads, pastries and savouries are also a speciality. Sourdough loaves, baguettes, quiches and croissants are baked fresh daily. And don’t miss the hot cabinet – their pies and sausage rolls are perfect for a quick, satisfying lunch.

Take Home Meals

The Take & Bake line is a newer addition to Jocelyn’s Provisions. In the freezer you’ll find:

• sausage rolls and pies
• soups
• ready-made meals like lasagne, moussaka, butter chicken and beef rendang.

These are ideal for an easy dinner that still feels homemade.

Provisions

The shelves are filled with all kids of goodies – jams, chutneys, rocky road, chocolate, cookies and biscuits.

How can you resist the peanut butter jelly beer jam? Or some florentines, meringues or biscotti?

Hampers packed in beautiful boxes are also available, and make perfect gifts.
